EB Kids Clothing Swap - what I sent off!

So here is what I sent off my my swap partner Kylie (who I don't think has a blog) for her little man Hartley who is 2 1/2 years old. Hartley is a very tall boy so I made clothes in sizes 3 & 4 to suit him. Mum Kylies requests were bright colours, overalls, sock monkeys and snakes so hopefully she is happy with what I came up with.

Pants, T-Shirt & Overalls
Overalls in Size 4 with yellow sock monkey lining and front pockets. I had bits and pieces of a very old pattern for these that the MIL gave me so had to make some pieces up, but I love how they turned out, so cute!
O+S Sandbox Pants in Size 3 with red sock monkey pockets Freezer Paper Stencilled T-Shirt of a snake
And a close up of the snakes tongue and eyes

Freezer Paper Stencilling

I finally got around to doing some freezer paper stencilling today after wanting to try it for a while now. I found an image in my clipart folder of a motorbike which I thought Tom would love (and he does!). The paint has bled a little on the back wheel of the bike which I think may have been me putting the paint on a little too thickly. Not bad for a first attempt though and so quick and easy to do. Once its dry will give it a few washes just to check the paint mix I used holds up well enough before doing some more. I used a combination of an acrylic paint with a textile medium from the 'Jo Sonja' paint range.
